Vintage wedding

This is a photoshoot I did for the local Woman Magazine, coleraine.  I really wanted to put something quite old worldy together, and create a soft, ethereal look.

It was probably one of the wettest days of june! I wanted to cry, as i frantically tried to come up with a backdrop inside the barn at Pretty Crafty studio were we were doing the shoot. leslie the owner noticed how upset I was becoming, and suggested we still go outside, underneath 2 huge parasols!! i could have kissed her! The models Chloe and Rezza were amazing, and didn't even shiver when I told them we were shooting. i love chloes look, and the incredible hair by Claire Seaton of Moods hair Coleraine, and the makeup by Rosie Pritchard really stood up to the elements.

Deirdre and Peter

The stunning Deirdre, and the very handsome peter, who was also very shy, and hated having his photo taken! So I kept at a distance, and to be honest most of the photos he had taken, he was completely unaware of.
Deirdres dress was pure simple elegance, and the small details just made the day a very relaxed and classic one.

They were married in Steelstown Derry, and had their photos taken at Thornhill convent before moving on to Davincis restaurant in Derry for their reception dinner.
